If you don't look forward to playing MUT, just quit.

Gone are the thoughts that I have to log in and do the dailies, mostly by doing mind numbingly boring Solo Battles.

Instead, I've been able to play games that seem to be aiming towards their consumer enjoying themselves, rather than just trying to pressure them into micro transactions.

I never knew I'd like it, but played through Diablo III. A game that is over a decade old and it was 100x more fun than I've had playing MUT in years.

I even found NCAA Football 12 while spring cleaning and played that, had way more fun than playing MUT.

The kicker, is I played a game from XBox Game Pass called "House Flipper". It's literally about buying shitty houses, cleaning them, painting the walls, fixing things etc. It was by far more entertaining than MUT.

If MUT seems like a job to you, one that doesn't pay you but is always asking you to pay them, quit that shit and use your gaming time to actually enjoy yourself. Diablo IV coming to Gamepass in about 10 days, GBWISC if you're reading this you would LOVE Diablo III and IV, haven't tried the first 2, but it's the most fun I've had since AC Odyssey.

Still playing MUT (not nearly as much as I used to) and I’m able to enjoy it, but I also have been loving AC Odyssey. I bought the DLCs in a sale a little while ago and I’ve been playing those a lot

Good advice...I'm gonna check out Diablo.

Completely agree, based on the activity here I’m thinking a lot of people actually did quit. I popped in a couple times during S5, looked at the rewards for time spent grinding, and reached the same conclusion as you, why keep playing?

I picked up AC Mirage when it dropped to $30, but it’s no Odyssey or Origins for sure. I’ll check out Diablo, I haven’t played since some of the originals but am definitely looking for a game that’s actually fun and doesn’t rely on micro transactions as its core business model.

Hitman 3 has been pretty fun, it’s more puzzle solving than people think and Sniper Elite 5 is always good for a few hours of entertainment if you like that genre of shooter/sniper games.
