I have been telling you all for years to appreciate what we have and you didn't listen.
Solo Battles (full games) are extremely important (AND BORDERLINE TORTURE) now just like Domination to grind out good players on the field pass.
The Trade Block is gone, all but eliminating farm teams.
Many cards not only don't go into sets, but can't even be quick sold for training etc.
We're starting to get promos that are basically just LTD promos, which is a majority of the new promos in MyTeam for years. Buy this NEW PACK!!!!
MUT had a lot of things that we could've complained about, but we chose to complain about EVERYTHING!!!!
Every time we lost a game or were slightly inconvenienced we would make a thread in anger complaining about something else that in the big picture was extremely trivial and in many cases all in our heads. I have done this myself on multiple occasions.
We begged for EA to lose their exclusivity, and let 2K have a crack at it. Well, what is happening is EA is just becoming 2K.
Would this have happened regardless? Maybe, but for years I've been preaching for years that when people are screaming from the rooftops about literally every single aspect of the game, the actual important things get drowned out in the noise. So has MUT slowly moved towards MyTeam out of spite? Was it because they are too afraid to read constructive criticism about actual issues because this place is as toxic as any social media cancer out right now and therefore didn't know the biggest issues to address? Was it because we chased good people like Kraelo out of his position of influence because the dude was having mental breakdowns on stream because of how horrible we were to him?
Negativity often breeds more negativity.
This is likely my last year playing MUT before it's on Gamepass, because every year since Madden 18 it has taken something away that I enjoyed and is slowly becoming a clone of another extremely promising yet ultimately broken game mode called MyTeam.
It sucks so bad to see this once great game mode fall as far as now having multiple "buy only" promos over the course of the last month. It's about to get really, really bad.
