For example, if you use teams from the 80s the players will play much more physically with less foul calls. If you use teams from pre 3 point line, there will be no 3s. They also have an optional feature that adjusts the graphics to match the broadcasts of that era. The best part about eras is using it in MyNBA, which is 2ks franchise mode. You can start your franchise mode in any year since the 70s and use any historical team you want.
