Henry proved madden is still a bad game in the MCS

I think Henry just proved he’s the greatest madden player to ever play the game. Wether the game is trash or not he knows how to win games against high level players in big moments.
It's probably the worst part of the game and definitely what I complain about the most
I played ultimate team from 11 to 22 . Took a year off (last year) and back playing this year bc I’m just a football head . I gotta say .. this engine is terrible . It really is . I enjoy okeuing again like .. slingin the digital ball again .. lurking stepping in front of somethin ect . In all the years I don’t know if I’ve seen it this bad . It looks great . I casually win more than I lose this is a total neutral viewpoint . Dubbys dirty … bad engine or not he’ll find a way to win dudes nasty with it
That’s why I don’t really like playing All-Madden online. It’s not football if you can stop the run with only 3 lineman against 6-7 blockers. That should be an automatic 6-7 yards no matter what.
I think the point dreverse is trying to make if it’s is so effective why doesn’t every nfl team just do that. The fact dollar defensive is and an effective run defense that 190 pound defensive backs can take on 3 hundred pound lineman that are close to the strongest men in the world and can’t handle someone that weighs a 100 pounds less then them and can out lift those same db’s by hundreds of pounds.
Agreed. I'm convinced most don't actually read his posts. They just downvote them. The fact that a 180 lb corner doesn't get destroyed by a 320 lb tackle is absurd. The very fact that "pro's" go to defendes include 3 lineman and 8 db's speaks to how awful the engine is. You should be able to run the ball at will against these sets. Football is supposed to be about give and take. When dollar stops the run in even jumbo sets, something is wrong.
Henry's loop was just better than dubbys loop. Dubby was in a formation that sucks at blocking.
I don’t think you understand how many adjustments these guys make every single play. If they did the same thing every play they would never win, no argument. Touché too them for finding exploits in the game. I would use anything I could if I was playing for 10’s of thousands of dollars on the line. Remember it’s a video game not real football. If you want real football go sign up for a local league because you will never get real football concepts with madden. Lol you should know this by now dreverse.
Why can't we have real football concepts? We use to up until a few years ago. Low IQ spammers use to get destroyed. Now that's all the game is. They turned a complex chess game into checkers and its the only nfl game that we have. With how advanced gaming is these day to give us football fans this trash in this day in age is flat out messes up.
I agree. Most completely miss this. Why has Madden turned into an exploit-finding fest that's super unrealistic? Why can't we have a realistic football experience with realistic concepts?

I don't complain about everything. And I'm not Lil Timmy. I'm 44 yrs old and been playing madden since I was a child. And madden is the only game I play. I can complain about a broken game that use to not be broken at all when we had other football games available to play. If we had a real football game like how madden use to be we wouldn't be having this conversation in the 1st place allowing dollar to shutdown any and every run play and still have good pass coverage at the same time is ridiculous. Especially in 2023 when we have the most advanced gaming systems ever made. It's bullshit. If you don't have a problem with that it's likely because you are that 1 play Low iq spammer im talking about

It’s the fact they came out and promoted this whole thing how everything was “rewired and retooled “ , and everyone was running DB fire in 23 which was a 3 man Dline blitz and here this is a three man d-line blitz again being abused again.

I mean, Dubby was doing pretty much the same thing he was shifting his linebackers over to the left side and got 14 points from it. He just couldn’t do anything on offense. You were watching two people that were exploiting the game and one person knew how to move it better there and a developer right there speaking nothing about it 🤷♂️ thats not football going on here. I don’t think dubby ran the ball once
When was the last time you saw a NFl football game that there wasn’t even a run play.🤷♂️
I think this Madden is definitely better than last year. The fact that a set offensive meta hasn't emerged somewhat speaks to that.i burned out last year going against tight offset TE.
With that being said, it's insane that offensive logic is so bad that loop blitzing is still a thing. Three man defensive line formations are still OP. Players have 8 defensive backs on the field and oftentimes stop the run.
I do like some of the changes. The h2h event that limits cards is some of what we've asked for. On the other side, rewards for solo players keep decreasing.

Watched the Mcs game today Henry vs Dubby and with a developer as a commentator , not one word on how at this point in the game these 2 with the best cards , Dubby’s oline couldn’t stop a 3 man spread line wide with 130 to 150 Lbs cb’s in contains getting in 😂🤣 🤦♂️🤷♂️ They’re supposed to be playing a contain , yet they blitz in and loop around an area the game can’t create logic to react and block . I mean gimme a break EA . 4 or 5 D-line players can’t get in but 3 does still🤦♂️
