I just switched to Series X a week ago so some of the pro's may have more to do with that than changes from MUT23.
Pros:
I've really enjoyed the new animations and the gameplay overall. Everything seems much more realistic. As I just stated, this may be mostly because I just started playing the new gen version yesterday.
Tier objectives for rewards/xp on field passes.
Despite launch being a few hours late, I have had no issues at all with lag and the UI has been very smooth. (I have cross play turned off BTW)
Rewards seem to appear immediately so far. No more having to click in and out of competitive passes to get them to register.
Live Events tab with the quick access to the different field passes is user friendly, I also like the way the menu moves you into sets, shows items, etc.
Being able to get all 4 Team Captains is a huge W, assuming there will be an opportunity to upgrade them all fully eventually.
Cons:
83 Josh Allen is an absolute joke. This was just a slap in the face that really had me fuming. It's as much a matter of principle as anything else.
RP's targeted for next week?!?! This is another slap in the face. For as much time/coins that went into them, and the fact that they aren't going to upgrade throughout the season, we need them to be available ASAP so we get the most value out of them as we can.
Apparently daily coin packs for completing daily objectives are a thing of the past. Hoping maybe this changes for official launch, but seems like another unnecessary nerf of rewards that hurts a lot of the community.
There is no early release solos, and I am out of things to do outside of H2H. There should be a small content bonus for those of us that got the expensive edition for early access.
Overall I like the stat squish, but some players, like my favorite player of all time (Frank Gore) are completely worthless with 79 speed at 85 OVR. It seems like not a ton of thought went into attributes.
I've left things off of Pros and Cons but this is just a quick glance at the things I like and don't like the most immediately.
