Is he that good? Considering taking him for my freebie and benching Bo
How does he compare to sandcastle?
Currently running sandcastle with Gus back up Thining is swapping to flash with king Henry backup potentially
He might be, his cards always play well. But honestly I think it depends on scheme. Because in a lot of ways, as overalls rise, the amount they affect the game plateaus. I was doing just fine with 94 miles sanders on eagle TT with superbowl strat. Been running with gainwell for the past week, and while I'm able to get to the edge a little more, the end result often is only a few extra yards. I know football is a game of inches and all, but Madden is a game of chunk plays and who has the ball last.
picked him as my new class aka BND 98 ovr card
no regrets
I definitely will start to test them all out soon. I grabbed the new R Stevenson LTD last night put all the abilities on him, didn't get the job done smh. I remember Patterson's record breaker card was nice for me. I'll give him a try. Gus looks like where it's at tho.
I picked up Stevenson as well, one of my favorite current Pats so I was glad to pick him up and save an extra 300k+ from selling Patterson. Like you mention, Stevenson has not impressed even with HJS.
Patterson is much better and if you liked his record breaker then you’ll love this card.
Tried him out for a few games then sold him but going to grind the AKA challenges out so I can bring him back. Here’s my take:
As a pure runner, Gus is still probably better and Quadfather as well. I’ve never used either of them but played plenty of games against them. Phenom only seems to break the first tackle unlike Freight Train but he still absolutely crushed every opponent I played just running the ball how I normally do (stretch and zone runs). He’s more a glider when he runs the ball so just get him in open space, break a tackle, and he’s pretty much gone.
Where Flash truly separates himself is the fact he’s an elite RB and Receiver rolled into one, though you pretty much have to choose one or the other with his X Factors and ability combos. His height, catching, and route running combined with the abilities and double me make him good enough to line up at receiver and phenom by itself makes him good enough to line up at RB. You can make him a bell cow back as well with backfield master for 0 AP and he will never need to come off the field. Same could be said for Gus, but Flash’s hands and route running are MUCH better. Easily the most versatile offensive player in the game and can fit into any scheme.
Would highly recommend if you’re thinking of trying him out!
