Best formations and routes against db fire 2

Traps destroy that formation/play. Make them think run and build off of it. You have to learn how to block it for when you do pass. Double team NT, shift line opposite of your RB, and ID opposite side blitzing corner. Once you have the blocking down and establish a run that they have to respect then attack it like a cover 2 defense. The reason this defense is so good is because it’s very easy to setup, stops the run well (LOL) and it sheds very very easy against the pass. Also it looks the same across the different types of calls. Use MUT practice mode to get your attack against it down. 3-4 plays/variations to attack it. Normally I would say use the same offensive formation to attack it but I see a lot of value lately in switching formations at the line. I don’t do this because I am old and lazy but it works well on this Madden. Play Champions and you will face this formation 80%+ of the time and get ALOT of practice 🙄.

I like to run quick corner routes. Be smart to hit up practice mode to work on your blocking to give you a few seconds for the route to cut. Run plays can be good to up the middle.
