Deebo Package yet another awesome addition to the game that is basically broken
ok so a few years back people were using mut master tory holt at RB in salary cap so they made it so WRs cant play RB. that is a very strange sounding sentence now with like none of that stuff even in the game anymore
He will get a better opp card job card during the winter promo. The penalty for WR at hb must be high.
My bet is the cpu reads him as an oop player and oop lowers awareness by 10 according to mutleaks
What about someone like Charles Woodson...if I use him at FS
Does he lose awareness, even though he has secondary position as FS?
With secondary position, it “should” be ok. But who knows. The coding in this game is too much of a mess to know anything for sure. Everything's a rumor.
Has to be. As I stated below to RKA, even when you run a 99 everything WR in the deebo package in franchise, they still fumble on about every other carry. So we're talking 89 awareness in that situation. It's literally unusable in anything other than rookie arcade.

Also. I had the same issue out of this formation in Franchise. My WR was fumbling the ball on almost every carry. I decided to edit my WR1 to have 99 everything. He still fumbled. Basically it's another addition to the game that on the surface looks awesome, that doesn't function as it's supposed to. The theme of Madden 23 it seems.
It's every WR. He doesn't fumble on a drag route when getting hit sticked, but he fumbled all 3 times while running out of a position designed for a RB. It's more bad coding.
I finally ran the ACTUAL Deebo Samuel out of the package, 3 carries, 3 fumbles.
I have had this issue all year with other WR1's, but thought maybe Deebo would've been the exception, with the formation literally being named after him. NOPE.
If you do a jet touch pass to Deebo, he will have the same carrying as most RB's. Because it's a pass that he caught. Hand the ball to him or any other WR though out of the formation designed for a player like Deebo to run out of, he will basically fumble every time he is contacted by the defense. So disappointed. A cool package that is basically worthless.
