Best Run Stopper DTs?
Hmm. So I’ll get Casillas once I get to level 45, but is anyone good up until then?
My plan is to run selmon with inside stuff and under pressure for 2 ap, then use Cassillas with 0 ap inside stuff once I level him up. Selmon is really good in the pass rush game so I’m hoping to see some innacurates from the under pressure and with inside stuff and his speed he is good enough against the run despite being under sized. Currently though I’m running selmon and William Perry until I level up cassillas. Selmon has been on average getting 2 sacks a game for me. 98 Wilfork was a beast for me for a while but I sold him When his LTDs price got up around 900k A while back and swapped him for mean joe who was just about as good but way cheaper.
Cassilas is 0 AP for inside stuff. Lee Roy is +1 AP for inside stuff. I like Lee Roy for his flexibility and can put him at LE and stay at 99.
Currently have MJG 97 and Wilfork 94 as my run stoppers. Run a lot of nickel sets so I always have 2 DTs, and both have inside stuff. MJG does play very well. Looking for a new DT/someone who can play at DT and gets Inside Stuff for 1 AP. I was looking at maybe getting Suh, but others seem more well rounded. Maybe 98 Wilfork? Not sure. Please let me know what you think.
