either exchange sets are nerfed...
Yet when the game came out I couldn't get PUs to save my life
Take me back to the days when you could power up a card to a certain overall and put it into an exchange set.
Power Ups need to be able to go into exchange sets. They are too common (and worthless) at this point to not be exchange set eligible. Technically most of them will still sell for better than TP value, but I don't want to spend a half hour listing low 70's cards for 300-700 coins, it's not worth the effort. I also don't want to QS them all for training because it's depressing watching 100's of Power Ups turn into one re-roll for an 88.
Yeah, I was cashing out my low golds this weekend and I was hitting at a 30-40% return on the PowerUps (in the 3 low gold to 1 high) which is just wild. The only option is to list them on the block for 600-700 coins and wait a few hours to have them sell, or take an L and QS. They really need to change these next year to have value... at a minimum, the base PUs need to be able to go into sets.
If only you would’ve listened to me about selling them 96’s, you wouldn’t have had to waste your holiday weekend selling gold cards 😂

Ha, yea! That first year was amazing when you could power the card up and use into whatever set you wanted. Added tons of value to the cards with long PU paths.
I know the answer is money, but I really wish they would’ve kept that model.
I did that a lot, and also took advantage of the upgradable snow beasts in sets as well. I used a ton of those on position heroes back in I think MUT 19.
Im guessing thats because the majority of the sets you probably did just happened to give a card thats in same range of overalls where a majority of all the cards available in that specific overall range are just power up cards. But EA def does tighten up their pack cheeks so nothing but crap cards slide out!
So many powerups. I get 2 - 3 in the midfield pack daily. Geez why can't we exchange powerups. Come on man

If I can avoid it I don't do any exchange sets from low to 85-86. I use the Superstar promo for my silvers, campus heroes for my golds 70-79, campus heroes for my low elites 80-84, and make UL's for the next week.
...or I have horrendous luck. in the last month or so id say 90% of the exchange sets ive done have resulted in worthless power ups in return. anyone else?
