On Xbox Next Gen...just got my first "DeSync" message during a game

I've seen a couple threads in the past about this, but thought this was limited to XBox One and playstions, but not on Xbox Series S

I was winning in the 2nd half up 2 scores, then got desynced saying the game would not count.

My opponent apologized for "accidentally desyncing", but it sounds like something you have intentionally?

So I started a new game, got paired up with the same opponent. I messed him asking what happened, then I got a disconnect loss, despite having perfect internet

Did he somehow disconnect me the second time? I had to reenter Ultimate team and reconnect to the EA Server

So I end up with a loss instead of a win

I'm not that mad though, I more so enjoy hte competition of the game - I'm just confused

Also, why does EA give you a loss if the game never starts? They should not give you losses unless you quit after kickoff, but anything before kickoff should not be a loss

Report him, it was intentional

jimshredder

How would I report him? Doesnt xbox live only care about people not cursing in chat?

BringerOfRain357

Exactly, only recourse we unfortunately have for cheats like this. Some people will do anything to win a game without really winning, sad!

jimshredder

Yes, but what exactly is a desync?

How is it different from disconnect?

vtexzzed

the profile ur signed into doesnt match the profile thats in the game so the game desyncs . the glitch on xbox one was to get into a game and then sign in as a guest and it would desync and the game wouldnt count for the person doing the glitch and give the other guy the L

jimshredder

The Gus name is G3NOLimit, but with special characters like a dash trough the ) and swiggly lines above the other letters

Sounds like a hacker or something, so I dont want to report him and piss him off

jimshredder

That sounds way too easy, surprised more people dont do that, or xbox hasnt put out a solution

If you sign out of a profile or sign in as a guest, it should be automatic loss
