If you don’t have a 4K TV, then this is a good option to fix responsiveness in menus.
However, if you have a 4K TV, doing this will totally disable 4K and any HDR options on your console for ALL games.
Interesting. I’m skeptical this will work because I stream from my Xbox a ton and the menus are still laggy.
I’ll give it a shot though. I’m using 4K so I’m not sure it’d work for me.
Would this work for PlayStation?
I made a thread about this months ago about input lag or screen lag and I thought about maybe getting a new Xbox but I see a lot of people were having the same issue on Xbox. I’m on Current gen and have top of the line speed internet so I knew it wasn’t an internet issue but anyway do these steps:
-Setting>> General >>> TV & display options >>> Video fidelity & overscan
From there click on display and change it to HDMI. It’s gona ask you are you sure you want to over ride it hit yes. Your screen and words will look blurry but don’t worry. Now hit B to go back and on the Video fidelity & over screen menu go to resolution and change it to 1080p. Your screen will look normal again but this setup has tremendously helped my input lag or screen lag.
I used to have to restart my Xbox after 15 mins cause of how bad input and menu lag got. It’s a night and day difference for me so give it a shot and lmk how it works out for you guys.
