What exactly is intentional grounding in Madden and why isnt it called more

The NFL defines intentional grounding as

INTENTIONAL GROUNDING. It is a foul for intentional grounding if a passer, facing an imminent loss of yardage because of pressure from the defense, throws a forward pass without a realistic chance of completion.

WELLLLL...In Madden, almost every time I get pressure on the QB, even while he is still in the pocket, my opponent uses the throw away button and shanks a throw out of bounds, that has no real chance of completions Sometimes the throw does not even reaching the line of scrimmage.

Why isnt this intentional grounding. They are not outside the pocket

I blitz a lot and maybe get (1) intentional grounding call against my opponent every 10 games

However, i get 2-3 roughing the passer calls
