I know that you need to wait until the kicking team decides what they are going to do first. But had a weird game tonight where now I'm second guessing things.
One instance when I was kicking off, it showed the opponent had already selected regular kick return. So I picked onside kick, the screen paused like 10 secs, and all of a sudden he was in onside kick defense. It wasn't some kind of audible, like when the players are already on the screen.
Later in the same game on another kickoff it showed he had picked onside kick before I selected anything. So I picked regular kick, the screen paused 10 secs for him to make some kind of adjustment, and miraculously he is in regular kick return. Again, not an audible when the players are visible. Anyone know how this is possible? Thanks in advance.
