If you aren't going to fix contains, can you at least get the intentional grounding rule right?

Item 1. Passer or Ball Outside Tackle Position. Intentional grounding will not be called when a passer, who is outside, or has been outside, the tackle position,<h1>throws a forward pass that lands at or beyond the line of scrimmage</h1>, even if no offensive player(s) have a realistic chance to catch the ball (including when the ball lands out of bounds over the sideline or endline). If the ball crosses the line of scrimmage (extended) beyond the sideline, there is no intentional grounding. If a loose ball leaves the area bordered by the tackles, this area no longer exists; if the ball is recovered, all intentional grounding rules apply as if the passer is outside this area.

The rare time contains do work, these clowns are running 30+ yards back, throwing it away and the ball isn't even close to the LOS.

I have commented about this at least 20 times on here. Seeing Vick double back 30 yards behind LOS and then throw 20 yards and not intentional grounding - holy crap. Morons coding this game.

But then I have Manning, throw it away from the 5 yard line through the end zone... intentional grounding. So in the pocket it is a basically a roll of the die animation (DDA based of course) and then outside the pocket coded like they don't even understand football rules. Unlike zones being broke this particular PoS coding has been in the game since inception. Going back to m25... this was never called. In fact the throw away animation used to be worse. If Vick was 30 yard behind LoS they would give him a quick throw away animation like directly out of bounds.

I see people inside the pocket throwing it away and not counting as intentional grounding. That doesn’t happen in the NFL. Then again this isn’t the NFL

Just lot a game to Henry user who got away with 4 intentional groundings. One play he was 40 yards in the back field and he got away with it.

Yep, and when I throw it away and I’m at the LOS I get called for it
