You should: Exchange up until 80-82s or 83-84s (keep a lot of 80s-82s). I did the legends solos to get some mid elites (84-86s) and threw them into the Team Builders II sets.
With about 50 low elites like 80 overalls, which I could have sold for about 3k each (150k total, 135k after tax). Instead, with the elites and legend NAT pieces, I was able to make 6 team builder 88 ovrs, which each sold for 50k.
I found that this way is more profitable than simply selling the elites or exchanging them up and selling it. If you plan on doing this, you might want to do this rather soon, before the 88 TBs start to lose value.
