My support for NCAT may change if one is not offered in Team Diamonds via challenges/objectives
I think only giving us 2 team affinities. I would've took a NCAT td but of course EA never gives us want we want.
NATs are fine for the game because they gave people value for their time without "flooding the market." NCATs don't make any sense because they're taking-away the Training value that NATs have (which already wasn't a whole lot), but also makes it to where you can't even use the cards you earned by playing the game in sets to help you that way.
I don't really know how anyone can defend NCATs, especially on the notion that EA is doing it to "benefit NMS players." EA's always despised NMS players, that's why they've constantly chipped-away at people ability to play the game without spending money on packs. Journey and Gauntlet are gone, NCATs have taken over and offer little to no value for anyone, packs have gotten worse, rewards for solos and Weekend League have gotten worse, rewards for doing sets has gotten worse, etc.
Stop lying to yourself and thinking anyone at EA cares about the players, they don't, clearly. They lost the benefit of the doubt years ago, and it's going to take some serious changes for them to ever earn it back.
They should give us a chance to at least get 2 TD’s since it’s such a big promo. One from solos and one from objectives. Screw the other game mode stuff. Maybe even one from house rules too would be nice
I agree. The only way ncat will work is if it continues throughout the whole year
Unfortunately I doubt we are getting a free one.... if there are solos, I bet we get random set pieces for these instead. They won't give us any of the set pieces back either because they make way more money taking our cards we put into sets. MLB The Show never takes your set pieces.... you get every single set piece back from any set all year and you can keep using them in different sets. I wish EA wasn't so greedy.... this game could be great, but the cash grab antics ruin it more every year. I'm still holding hope we get one, but from the sneak peak I think it's very unlikely.
Yeah it's an attack on peoples ability to sustain themselves in this mode. You give back nat's as rewards from sets then people can use them in other sets or exchanges, they don't like that. These sets look kind of expensive too if they're anything like the Chiefs one they showed in the stream. Golds, mid level elites, and a 87-88 ovr from that team for only a 90 ovr? UK cards are probably about to skyrocket. The only thing that can benefit the players is if there are some rare golds from these sets that you can profit from. Also packs are real bad, you rarely pull cards over 80 ovr.
The sets are like every single card in the game. Little different. There’s no such thing as training either
Unless theres additional objective lists, I think it was just 2 NAT team builders you get.
The PUs will be ridiculously priced if we do get a NCAT
I agree with the NCAT Team Diamond of your choice. They have done it with mostly all the promos they put out, don’t stop now because its “Team Diamonds”. I stated before with another guy on here that if they do give us an NCAT Team Diamond, you litterally have to finish all 31 teams to get the master, so a free card of your choice won’t hurt a thing.
I fortunately no solos = no NCAT. We saw the objectives and they give you 2 TBs - that’s it……
They might go over the whole program today on stream and maybe show some solos and the rest of the sets.
No Stream on Fridays right? They are screwing us most likely.
They haven’t given out full diamonds in M20 or M21 if memory serves. Always set pieces.
Yeah, but with the new NCAT changes, I'm hoping they put their money where their mouth is and show us that it's actually about helping out the solo grinder, NMS guys.
I have been a glass half full guy with NCAT despite catching a lot of heat for it, because I can see how NMS teams can benefit from it, and I've found some fun loopholes to make a few coins myself. However, my allegiance is about to be tested. I can think of no other circumstance where an NCAT would be more of a given then ONE free NCAT Team Diamond of your choice, even if it quicksells for 20 training. If NCAT actually has anything to do with being beneficial to the consumer that isn't out there ripping bundles, then this should be a given. Do the right thing EA.
Also.... It would be a big W if some of the higher OVR's that go into sets would be returned as NCAT's as well. Since NCAT's are about helping the little guy right? We'll see.
