IMO it all comes down to discipline. Fact of the matter is that all of us will be able to earn millions of coins over just a matter of weeks via content alone such as challenges and solo battles not too mention any H2H mode you may want to play. What you do with those coins as you earn them and when you choose to utilize them is what will determine if you will be "MUT wealthy" or not. For example, everyone knows that the most packs get consistently ripped on Saturdays - this means that's the day you should probably be upgrading your team.
TLDR - Earning coins is great, but not if you can't control yourself when it comes to spending them on the release date of a promo when the same cards will be half the price in a week (OP did touch on this so credit where credit is due).
I was buying low overall players and exchanging them for 75-79ovr players. I pulled an Aaron Donald and Quenton Nelson powerup card (back to back) for a 65k profit.
Coin making you can do most of the team builders for stupid coins and make them for under 29k if snipe right. I’m at 600k.
Should I sell low core rookies or exchange them up and if so to gold rookie?
Yea I was wondering this...I was just going to complete the master set for a chunk profit, last year the master stayed expensive for a while but maybe because it was the best user in the game.
I would add- check the prices of the silver core rookies. If they are less than 1500, put them in the exchange for gold core rookies for a bigger profit possibility
Will try n give sniping a shot this year. Never been a market guy but I don't like what ea is trying to do to nms spent folks
I disagree about the higher elites. Last year on ps4 they actually went down by a lot once the market sttled only a week in.
Thanks for this. You've been putting up some great info lately. Appreciate it!
I would recommend selling before September 1st, you'd want them gone for the first Weekend league aka mut champions weekend and also because the first madden qualifying tournament is like the 28th-29th so people will be wanting the best cards for that too.
Thanks for this new to the game this year played mobile and decided to move over to console and every bit will help.
M22 Coin Making / Sniping Guide - August 2021
Hey guys, many of you have requested from this so it’s finally here: the M22 sniping guide.
In this guide I will walk you through how I made (43 million) coins last year as a no money spent player. Although these methods can take time, trust me, they are definitely worth it! I’ll walk you through investing, how to play the market during content, and sniping.
Sniping: My favorite filter of all time is the platinum filter (coin quicksell filter). It’s not currently in the game at the time of writing this but it will hopefully be at worldwide launch. Look for cards posted under the qs values and purchase them. You can then sell them on the auction house for what they go for, or quicksell them, but if you do post them on the auction house, remember the 10% tax, so it might be less than qs value.
Platinum QS Values:
80 - 13k
81- 18k
82 - 26k
83 - 39k
84- 56k
85 - 82k
86- 120k
87- 170k
88- 250k
The market will be the lowest the morning of the 17th/tomorrow morning (16th) and the morning of the 20th/day before (19th), if there are new zealanders.
Invest in elites, and put non-expensive golds in exchange sets for elites. These low ovr elites will increase by about 10k, but higher elites like 86+’s will most likely double, or even triple in value. Sell the elites near September 1st, and bring in a huge profit.
The best method other than sniping is the gap method. Open get a player packs and put the players you get from them into exchange sets, all the way up to high golds, which you then sell. Also sell core rookies.
Don’t try to get players on the first day of their launch. I had more than enough coins to buy ultimate legends when they first came out last year, but their value was cut in half over the course of a week and a half and I was able to save coins. If you’re going on a long trip, sell your team and buy it back later.
Mainly, the biggest thing you can do is use the companion app. This is great for sniping and selling cards from the gap method. It also loads faster than the console so you have a better chance at sniping things. Don't get pulled into buying packs, trust me, it's not worth it and you'll lose coins.
