They've always had Movers cards this time of year, really it's the same thing.
Mays didn't play a regular season game with them so they won't count him. EA wants to allow people to use players on their theme team that are acquired during the offseason, otherwise promos like Movers would be pointless imo. Only time this didn't workout is when AB went to the Raiders, he kept the Raiders chem that year.
Right. I totally understand that Mays didn't play with the Vikings during any games... But Stafford hasn't played with the Rams and Goff hasn't played with the Lions. More than likely they will both play for their perspective teams... But you never know, especially Goff, could be traded.

Given its likely they'll end up suiting up for their new teams, its easier for EA to end up being wrong rather than deal with fans pissed off they can't use their new QB
I thought MUT only allowed team chems to go on players who have played an actual game for their new team. Yet stafford gets rams, and Goff gets lions. I only wonder this because Taylor Mays was on the Vikings for 3 months in the offseason before they cut him back in 2015... Yet he doesn't get vikings chem. So imagine if the lions were to trade Goff before the season, yet he would still get Lions chem on his card?
