I really wish they would fix this game and not make it so easy to score points. I mean. I'd like to see QB's actually only completing 65% of their passes.
You'd see a lot less of the 4th and long and going for it garbage if there wasn't such a high chance to convert them.
I think they are just being riskier with the ball on 4th down and getting rewarded for it. There are throws you wouldn't feel comfortable throwing on 1st or 2nd. Then you get to 4th and are like "F it".
Yea this is it. That first drive, you're also getting a feel for their offense and what throws they like to make.
I notice I'm able to surprise teams a lot early on by audibling into a 5 wide set and killing them over the top. After I do it once, it's harder to surprise them, of course.

I would say at least 75 percent of the games I play come down to 4th and 15 plus on the first drive of the game. Then more than half of the time I give up the 1st down. It's always one of my 99 OVR corners who just stand there at the snap of the ball and my safety has to chase someone down to prevent a TD. Should I start purposely getting into 4th and long situations on offense? It's really irritating because I don't feel like I'm doing anything different than the first 3 downs in which I shut everything down.
