Nope, this year they are largely irrelevant.
It's a bit more complex, though - all that matters is
1) THP 2) Speed 3) Does he get Gunslinger or HRM/Set Feat Lead
That's basically all you need to know about any QB above about 90 OVR.
Gutfoxx, who obviously plays a ton, almost entirely passes, switches between the top end quarterbacks a lot,. and pays a lot of attention to stats, is the most prominent proponent of the idea that QB throwing accuracy doesn't matter in M21. He had quite a bit of success passing with Trace McSorley's silver card in H2H, for example.
We know from Mutleaks that the QB Accuracy stats are very flat curves where increases in accuracy, or the infamous "thresholds" make very little difference.
Not just for accuracy, but for all stats, there are a lot of people that have a lot of resistance to the idea that stats don't matter. I think its:
1) Wishful thinking - MUT and team building would be vastly more interesting if more stats mattered and there were more important differences in performance between different numbers.
2) People have spent significant coin buying increases in stats and don't want to be told they wasted that coin.

Wow that’s good stuff! I guess I’m gonna have to eat my words on that one.. Thanks!
Not based on the thresholds in the game. 80, 85, and 90 (SAC, MAC and DAC) are the thresholds to my knowledge. So the difference in Romo’s 94 SAC and 89 Kyler Murray’s 85 SAC is essentially nothing.
this. Essentially you get over the accuracy threshold of 70ish and the difference is very slim.
No if you look at the graphs for adjusted QB accuracy this year, the accuracy stats are WAY less important than last year. The difference between 80 and 89 accuracy is minimal and the difference between 90 and 99 acc is almost non existant.
The only thing you need accuracy for this year is to hit the 80 SAC, 85 MAC, and 90 DAC thresholds to eliminate the chance of "random inaccurate passes". Outside of hitting those thresholds ignore the stat.
I just had this dude tell me tell me accuracy stats doesn’t matter for a QB.. He says the only stats that matter is THP and TOR... This was under the Tony Romo comment section. I’ve never heard anything more ridiculous... In my opinion those stats are the most important when it comes to quarterbacks.... Agree or disagree?
