Reinstall the game as this seems to be the only work-around to the server issue. Put your system on Rest Mode in power settings. Never close the app. Just hit the power button putting the system in Rest mode. Then when you turn the system back on, Madden will start up in the main menu. It will disconnect you from the internet but never close the app. Hope this somewhat helps.
