How to work around slow menus
I thought you would say “gently put the controller down on the table and walk away until the menu issue is fixed” At least, that would have been my smart ass suggestion.
I agree with this. When I finally got on this morning worked fine until I went to lineup (after about an hour and a half of solos,AH, binder and sets.
TL:DR - the slow loading behavior is triggered by going to view your team in adjust lineup. In my experience the menus all load fine until I go to Adjust Lineup.
Everyone even Gutfoxx says slow servers. It’s a bug not servers. Below is my diagnosis and a temp way to defeat slow menus. If community finds this accurate get info out there.

It’s not an excuse or acceptable but maybe this will help. Also this is a survey sample size of one (me).
Longer version: people have noted the game works fine then slows down with an understandable diagnosis that server loads are fluctuating. I do not believe server loads or network traffic are the cause.
So I stay away from adjusting team or resign myself to a restart after. On my PS4 this behavior is 100% repeatable thus it is almost certainly a software bug.
We have a repeatable software behavior that SEEMS erratic but is not what it seems: the slow menu loads work fine then doesnt leading to what seems like unpredictable software behavior but is in fact repeatable. Therefore I believe it is a coding/software bug introduced sometime in development.
