UPDATED 8/22 COD *Change of Direction* what does it do - EA’s response
Would you guys like it to be on players general page since it’s a stat relative to speed? It should be simple to code in, right?
On defensive players it’s listed as an offensive attribute. Is that true, does anyone know what and who COD is going to affect?
I’m going to EA’s forum for this. It seems very important but to which players and how will it affect. If @MODS know anything. Knowledge dropped would be appreciated.
Going to EA and looking at the highest COD in franchise mode The Cheetah rains supreme with a 99, so is it purely offensive? Second is Avonte Maddox (Fly Eagles Fly) so it does impact defensive players. Hopefully the manual will divulge info. Yes, I am obsessed with this topic

The higher the COD the more you can turn before making a drastic cut. ELU was removed but it’s in the same position as ELU that’s why on defensive players it’s in the section offensive. COD affects both offense and defensive players. It also controls the speed at which a player slows down. Where things pick up some EA Sports ambiguity AGI controls the rate of non drastic direction changes.
