So I like running a play in shotgun with 4 wide; and the outside receiver does a route where they slant in (5 yrds), then turn up field (5yrds), and then slant in again. However depending on the receiver and what level of PU I have them at, the quarterback will over lead the receiver resulting in an interception; especially if my opponent is running cover 3. Ive also tried various QBs with different accuracy and THP, and that has made zero difference. This is clearly all about the receivers. Here is what I noticed.
PU Moss 90 OVR; QB throws it perfectly. 90+ PU Moss QB throws it too far in front of receiver
PU Calvin 95 OVR; QB throws it perfect. 95+ Calvin over leads receiver.
PU Fitzgerald 93 OVR; perfect throw. 95+ Fitz over leads receiver.
I cannot for the life of me figure out what stat it is that is making the QB over lead the receiver so much. Does anyone have any ideas?
I thought maybe speed, but my 95 OVR Calvin had 97 SPD vs. my 95 Fitz had 94 SPD; and he hits Calvin perfectly and over leads Fitz.
I don't know if its JMP, or SRR, MRR, DRR, or perhaps CTH and CIT.
I would just stick with 95 PU Calvin, but his CTH and CIT are a little on the low side, and he often drops passes when getting touched.
