Why do my players randomly lose "sprint" for a quick second

Is this DDA?

My HB will break into the seconary or my WR will RAC off an out route into the open field, just to lose speed as I'm holding sprint, and and then gain speed again.

This isn't due to change of motion, because it's usually when I'm already running in a straight line

I've been held to FG's so many times because my player would randomly lose speed at the 10 yard line just to get caught, and I'd get stuffed at Goal Line

Like someone else said, could be controller issue. I had a similar problem and solved it by getting a new controller.

Usually it's the bigger players that are getting tired.....on a long run when you are sprinting the whole way.....they run out of gas.

What's really funny is watching Lawrence Taylor try to take an interception to the house......if it's more than 20-30 yards...he won't just slow down...he'll come to almost a dead stop.

It could be your controller.. for me sometimes my db doesnt move at all when i click onto him for a pick while the ball is mid-air tho

Are you juking or anything after you catch it?

jfuertez

with the HB maybe sometimes.

WR's no, I'll usually catch in stride from a slant or out route just straihgt line to the End Zone, but they just slow down in the middle of the run

Oh yeah not really sure then. My wideouts gets caught from behind but most of the time its the angles the DB runs

interesting - are you waiting to hit sprint until you are in open field? I've only seen this happen when I press it from the time the ball is snapped

jfuertez

Once the ball is caught, especially in stride, it's held the whole time.

I've found spamming the ball hand swap helps but still
