Wow, Mercy rule!
Yeah, had one of these earlier today myself.
Usually when it happens and they refuse to give up...I just go into chew clock mode to get it over as quick as I can...but I had time on my hands this time...and I figured if this guy wants to keep playing 4 full quarters even after the game gave him an easy out...then I would just pad my game stats. Didn't take time outs or go for two or anything like that...but I did attempt to score on every play.
Final score was 116-0. Anthony Barr had 17 sacks.....he ended up with -250 yards of offense.
I don't get it....I personally would have quit long before that.
being how strong DDA is and how cheeese this madden is im not surprised at 34-0 in 1st this madden is the worst ive played and i been play since 92
IMO it sucks that MUT does not have an actual mercy rule, meaning the game automatically ends, if you're up by 35 or so.
There used to be one years ago. If you were up 21 with ball you could pause the game and instead of quit game it would say offer opponent to concede, there also used to be a friendly quit where the game wouldn’t be recorded. I think when WL was introduced they scrapped this
I remember this! I like that you get credit for a win when the other guys has “connection issues” now. That used to make me mad and was the reason I stayed away from H2H for like 2 years! Actually winning a game and just get a DNF... I do wish more guys would stop conceding defeat with only like 30 seconds left. You get like 300 experience for completing 4 qtrs. I’m not to 99 yet so that helps me out!
That's not what I want - we still kind of have that in MUT when you're up 21 in the first quarter. I want you to automatically lose and be kicked from the game if you fall behind by 35 or so. At that point, continuing to play is just wasting everybody's time but some people stay and drag out the game.
I got the same message when I took a pick six to the house with Sean Taylor. I was up 30-0

That happens when you go up by 17+ by the end of the 1st Quarter... Most of the people never quit tho
Isn't it 21+? Maybe you're right that three scores is enough.
Only 17, you can come back down 17... I can see 34 or even 28. 17 point come backs happen all the time. I’ve even came back down 21 cause sometimes it takes me a drive or two to figure out “their play”... I’m wondering why I’ve never got this screen I know I been down 17-21 in the first before!
Kinda pissed it cut the screen off before I could get a picture!
While you are seeing that screen...your opponent is seeing a screen asking if they'd like to concede early.
They can say, yes or no.......depending on how long they think about it before answering...that is how long you get to see the screen....it either resumes the game again....or it comes up with a message that your opponent has conceded.
This was a first for me. Just had the game say very impressive, and stopped the game!
