best way to make coin
This question always seems to come up....Always comes down to spending time grinding solos and working the auction house or dropping money on packs for a quicker influx of coins. That really is about it.
I've done the farm thing before but not this year as it's just too time consuming and not worth my effort. I've taken a much more casual approach this year and have enjoyed the game more.
Nunchal - your advice is absolutely solid.
The most reasonable approach I've found for making more coin is to commit to making one sale in the AH for every solo. That action has more than doubled my return on time invested.
Advice for beginners - While the easiest approach to doing the daily objective has been posted many times, I believe this is the fastest way to get it done in this order - Go to Get a Player in the store (500 coins), put him in the binder. Go to the binder, select that player, press L1, determine if you get more through the AH or by putting him in a set and do whichever gives the best return. Reverse a predictor card to complete a set. Go to Gauntlet > Rookie > Panthers and kick a field goal. Finish the solo and repeat it. If that is all you do and you are at MUT level 40, you'll average more than 5000 coins/day for 5 minutes of your time.
I don't know how EA defines farming. But if you cross that line, whatever it is, they don't like it. They don't define it on their website or in the user agreement. They tell you what they could do or might do, which includes confiscating all coins and closing your account. That drastic action has happened to a few. With the NAT cards and current restrictions on trades, I think it would be hard to cross "the line" but if it's possible, someone will find a way. Youtubers brag about farming (by their definition) as a way to make a lot of coin. It does work, but the bottomline is - you have to play constantly or get lucky in the store to make the kind of coin they brag about. Like most gamblers, they don't tell you how much time and money they waste to get the big win.
PS I never farm. I don't have enough time for WL. I just like a competitive team. But do the daily objective. And as a player. Don't always use the same play. I gets to dang boring.
