 seroisly I never use a mic because I don’t want to hear some 12 year old screaming all game
For real. I don't play with a mic, and I actually mute the TV altogether. I have no desire to hear the announcers... and I actually don't get suckered on fake-snaps as much.
Try calling xbox support, sometimes they can check the problem out through thee console and fix it for you

First off, my apologies if this is not the correct forum for this type of thread.
I recently got a Turtle Beach for the X-Box One and have been trying to use it, but it doesn't seem to be working for me. In Madden, Fortnite, etc., I can hear the other person talking to me, but they cannot hear me talking to them. I have made sure I wasn't muted, and I cannot seem to figure out the problem. If someone can lend some advice, I would really appreciate it.
Thanks, JMC
There is typically a microphone mute button on turtle beach headsets, make sure it is not slid on. Everything always works in Fortnite but in Squads 98% of the time (for me at least) the communication doesn't work and you need to create a party on Xbox to communicate.

This isn't for random people online, lol. Especially in Fortnite and Mutsquads, availability of communication with teammates can win or lose the game.

I'll give it a shot, thank you for the help!
