91 Zone is king, also heard that 80 catching triggers more interception animations for defensive players, dont know how much truth there is to that tho
Quote from SweetSupremacy >> 91 zone is the threshold where defenders will get the fastest reaction time to the QB's throw. At 91 zone, your DB will react immediately when your opponent pushes their receiver's button to throw. Your DB will already be beginning their animation to flock to the ball before the ball is thrown. This alone has been good enough all year to generate interceptions, which makes sense when you think about it. What more do you need than to give your defender a 5-7 yard head start? If you watch replays to illustrate the difference between this and an 88 zone guy for example, it's huge. The difference between intercepting throws to open receivers and merely trying to make a tackle to limit RAC.
Nothing above 91 matters. Having 91+ causes the player to react when the qb starts his throwing animation. I doubt they’re increase the threshold but you never know with EA.
91 or higher = defender breaking on ball before qb releases. higher number than 91 should be better. quicker or more consistent. 91 is the most important tho
i read on here that they wont be increasing thresholds.
And yes it matters...a lot unfortunately

People say the higher zone levels make some difference, others say it doesn't. My observation is that 91 zone is plenty to generate those interceptions. That 5-7 yard head start is higher impact than any match-up delta advantages you might get from higher zone against CIT. Besides 91 zone, I've come to value speed, agility, catching, height and jumping. All things that get those picks.
I know 91 is the threshold. So if a player has 91 zone that is all that matters? Is there any difference between 91 and 94 zone? I know it should matter but does it? Do you think they will increase the threshold at any point? Looking real hard at Gilmore as my gauntlet master but Marshall can also get to that 91 zone number. Thanks for the input.
