Madden 18 - Kick Meter with variable speeds (Video)
So it took me all of one game last night to find an example of the kicking meter changing speeds at some point throughout the game. Let me set the scene. It's my playoffs, I'm playing a god squad with Vick and the crew. We go up 7-0 on a quick score and get a fast extra point meter. The guy comes back and scores on a long drive and I score again very quickly to make the game 14-7. Kick meter is identical to the first score. Both fast. I clicked both at the top of the arc at the exact same time. We have consistency established.
I get a pick six right before the end of the half and now, the kick meter is slow. Wait, what? Slow? Yeah, noticeably slower.
So I overlayed the three kicks on top of each other and what you notice is two kicks roughly identical and one kick meter going much slower than the rest after click #2 at the top of the arc. There's no reason to see ANY SEPARATION between the lines. IE: They shouldn't be moving further and further apart if they're all going the same speed right? RIGHT?!
