Figured out how some people get to top 100 h2h seasons leaderboard

leaderboard should be based on who's best at the game, not people that's up there because they played 2000 games and barely have a winning record
I'm just confused as to why the hell a leaderboard for a virtual game that 90% of people say is rigged/equalized/unfair matters but that's just me.

I think the algorithm should be changed and the rewards restructured. Winning to a point then purposely quitting to a point should not be positively incentivized and I don't think they intended it to be that way. This thread is an attempt to raise awareness and maybe some EA employee will see it and say "aha".... or nothing will happen like 99.9% of every suggestion ever made.

I'm in am1/2, yesterday I played someone who must have been playing their first season ever. Had kickoff gronk in his top 3.
I run into these people when I occasionally drop out of the All Madden tiers. I drop to AP and run into very high overall teams wth great users. No way they belong in that tier. They have to be manipulating the system to stay in an easier tier. No wonder people get sick of the online cheese and mismatches.

*creates, EA creates the loopholes, we jump through them. That's really life in a nutshell though. If getting on welfare and food stamps, public housing, etc. wasn't a viable way to live, then people wouldnt do it.

You're absolutely correct I spoke to a guy once playing head-to-head and he explained it to me he didn't do it to get on top 100 he just did it to get rewards faster. Season tokens

I think it goes far beyond total coins earned. Wouldn't doubt that's part of the formula, but I do doubt it's solely based upon coin accrual.

Someone mentioned then that the top 100 is sorted by total coins won through seasons. Not sure if that's accurate, but it would make sense.
They stay in either AP1 or AP2 by hitting the stay put win total (5 or 6 I think?) and then quit their season out. Gets them tokens faster and inflates how many games they play. You'll notice all these people with like a 1.4:1 W/L ratio with a couple thousand games played.
You'll also notice they have very, very low average points against and points for (same for yardage)....because they're instaquitting 0-0 games.
Pretty sad that this is what it's come to.
