May be an odd question, but does anyone know approximately the percentage of players on active rosters day 1 of 2018 that actually got cards in Madden 18? Just curious how well they cover the league with any level of card from bronze to GT etc.
You got me curious, and I checked for my 2017-2018 Saints - there are 3 guys missing in MUT that were on the opening day roster - HB Trey Edmunds, OL Josh LeRibeus, DL Mitchell Loewen. All fringe guys that barely made the final 53. So my rough guess is about 90-95% for the whole league. It might be lower than that this year, since Madden is starting earlier, like a whole month before the 53-man rosters are set for NFL week 1 and that makes it even more of a guessing game.
Everyone once in a while there is a perfect storm where a guy is a key contributor to a team but manages not to get a MUT card, at least not until way late. K Will Lutz in 2016-2017 didn't have a card all season but then finally got a TOTY if I remember correctly. But considering that he was a late UFA addition and a dark horse to win the kicking job in August 2016 it's hard to be upset at EA for missing his card.
