Madden squads vs cpu impossible.
man... i just tried to win a game for the first time without my friends... Got stuck with "No, I don't use cheese" guy as my OC. Lost 13-0 .... I don't know how to feel...
Cancel the play action and block your running back. I do this at the slightest hint of a blitz from the computer.
Everyone I played with today quit immediately. That helped a lot. With total control it became pretty easy.
Just played my second AND LAST squads vs. cpu.
I chose offense because I have a 90 team, the intermediate challenge. Of course one clown quits immediately, but one hangs and runs the D. He stinks. Nevertheless I have us up 14-0 late in the 3rd and I don't know WTF he called but CPU bomb, wide open, 14-7. I'm struggling badly on O because this mode plays NOTHING like solos. The CPU has a mean pass rush so half the time I can't get the PA Crossers pass off. Then the guy playing with me keeps taking over the #1 target WR and screwing his route up. And for whatever reason on this mode the CPU covers the receivers MUCH better and you lose every contested ball.
Still 14-7 10 seconds left, CPU throws the Hail Mary. NEVER lose a Hail Mary in solos. WTF happens? CPU catches it and scores. SUPER CPU CHEAT. Just absurd.
That was it, I quit and I will NEVER play that chit mode again. As bad as the other guy was I guarantee you he lost in OT too.

That’s all i do. Just to clarify, there is a few different gun monster this year. The ravens one is setup oddly and doesn’t work as good. It has a 2 3 4 setup on the line of scrimmage and causes the defense to come out with 5 in the box on more than 50% of the time in harder difficulty. The Bengals gun monster is the correct one with 3 3 3
Just completed my first squads vs. CPU game. It sucked.
First, of course, the other two monkeys quit immediately making this a solo for me. Unfortunately, the lag made it a frustrating experience and really messed with the kick meter and audibles. And I admit it annoyed me to know the two quitters rode me to the same reward, but with this chit going on it was the only way to complete the objective.
The sluggishness really was annoying. If every game is like that, won't be doing more.

I did this at least a half dozen times yesterday and got zip because EVERYBODY is quitting.
Really? That works? How would I know if they win? Am I not allowed to start another one till that one is done?

You can always just join and quit. Then hope they win. Works pretty good as most of the time they win.
I do that play money every solo. The problem is the random player takes away the main crosser and doesn’t run the route right. They keep taking all my cheese plays away. I just went as head coach and coasted and got a win that way. Xbox one though!
All I know is this is the first year EVER I've cleared EVERY solo available (have not unlocked Longshots yet), all because of PA Crosser out of the Saints playbook.
Can't tell you how much that one play has lowered my blood pressure. :o)
Just run the ball/clock. It's unfortunate you don't have other friends who play, getting random players I imagine is terrible.
I have been trying to beat the hard squads for series trophies for about 4 hours so far. No luck partly to idiotic teammates partly to cpu juiced. Any tips? I missed the AH crash because I want to make sure I get this done and my patience is so thin with madden today
