Why Can’t I make my RB pass block?

I’m with you man. The most annoying part is randomly out of the blue, it WILL work, so I know the players are capable of doing it within the code
What does your RB do?

Super helpful responses, thanks guys. So weird. Seems like the issue impacts about half of us for whatever reason and works fine for the other half.

Maybe, but it works just fine for call of duty. Never had an issue firing a weapon. So idk, its really weird

I think it’s an issue that PS4 controller have after using them for a while. Like the button doesn’t register correctly. I only have one controller that I can actually use for Madden for that reason.
It works periodically for me, but not the majority of the time. I agree it is very frustrating
That's weird I have no problem blocking my th i just do it by pressing Y selecting the runningbacks button and pressing RT

I’m also referring to basic non-PA passing situations. I can’t audible a basic wheel or swing route into a pass blocker.

I know this, but the button literally does not register. It doesnt matter what play, playaction or not, i cant block my rb. And i know my r2 is not broke, it works find on COD

2 years running... Is this intentional or incompetent coding?
I know you can block all and then redo the other routes, but this method takes away any route not in the audible menu. Not to mention, it doesn’t work to cancel play action.
Any help is much appreciated. Thanks guys.
