Thoughts on playmaker?

Can’t lie I use it quite often but people, including myself are getting better at defending it. A lot of the times it’s an easy pick for me. I would not be mad if they took it out of the game though tbh. 3 rec hook also plays it better than any other zone imo.

I just lost my super bowl to a guy who just did this the whole game. He had Julio, Calvin, and Moss so I just couldn't cover it.

I use it all the time because it's broken. I think zones should not stupidly just stand in their positions not caring about the play after a few seconds pass. Call Cover 2 and your idiot defenders will just remain 10 yards off the line and let any playmaker just run past them in no-man's land, getting wide open past them.

MY biggest gripe is that they literally always hang onto the ball

Only needs one change. Make the chem for qbs instead. Big Ben does it all the time. So does Russell Wilson. They should have it....Rodgers too. The scramble drill masters should have it and be able  to manipulate their guys quickly and everyone else slowly.

I had 5picks today against playermaker This dude got me 4th and long once that's it. Against playermaker key is hard flat the outside and get ready to follow the drag upfield. 

You want your mlb 90+ speed, at least 6.1 height and 90+ agility to allow you cut up the field smoothly

Be patient and bait your opponent by fake over commit to drag them rotate your analog stick

I would abuse the heck out of Playmaker if I was any good at using it. I'm buns with that chem its wasted on all my WRs and TEs

Keep playmaker. Tone it down? Sure why not, but it needs to stay in the game. It's annoying when my WR just sits at the edge of the sideline and just stares at me while he's being double covered. Like damn do something, run around, get open, be a PLAYMAKER.

Can you playmaker without target passing?

Other than the guys I've played against that run Mesh and them playmaker a drag route up the second it gets over the middle of the field, I don't really have any issue with it. I could see how it would get frustrating if it happens constantly, but I've gotten pretty lucky and not had to play too many Playmaker spammers.

I do have playmaker on 2 of my WRs and my 2nd TE, but I rarely use it. Just not something I ever really bother with.

Playmaker is fine but why does catching get boosted 1000% when used? If you playmaker someone into double coverage it don’t matter, but a regular route into single coverage will get you drops?  I enjoy the challenge of playing against playmaker but the catching boost is ridiculous and definitely needs tuning.

Yeah get rid of it.

 Oh really? So you're telling me Antonio Brown, the best RR in the NFL is going full speed in one direction and does a full 180 at the same speed? Playmaker is not realistic. Everyone knows receivers communicate. The ease of playmaker is where the problem lies. Personally, red chems have made this game worse and has made certain cards obsolete. Trucking doesn't exist because just about everyone has at least 5 ST on their team. Battle ready is stupid. Playmaker is just plain dumb and unrealistic. ST is extremely OP. Energized, unfakeable and return man are the most realistic chems. More-so unfakeable and return man.

I mean, I've used it occasionally here and there and it's bailed me out, but I definitely don't abuse it like some people with Vick do when they roll out and run to the corner of the field and just playmaker their receivers. It's annoying when that's all they do because there is no way to counter that if your pass rush doesn't get there.

I would much rather them get rid of low passes and the low behind passes.

Playmaker needs to be toned down big time. Receivers don't run a drag and then turn and so a 180 and not lose speed in the NFL.

Playmaker is definitely a pain in the ass. But it can be pick city, I've gotten several user picks because I know that once someone is user playmakering a player they are probably only looking at that receiver and intend to throw to them. Most of the time I get burned but I am getting better at user man covering and just holding Y once that ball is thrown.
