madden 19 mode with a max play call per game

with everybody running the same plays over and over and over which if it works they should be able to keep spamming the play but as we know that pisses off a lot  of people.  So they should have a mode that only allows a offensive  play to be called  like once or twice a game and then it is blacked out. So you would have to strategize when to use those money plays and would force players who wanted to play this mode  look deeper in the playbook and would eliminate a lot of complaints from people that hate getting spammed by these plays could just play this mode.

And with defense do the same with blitzes that allow people to run blitz once or twice a game but if you run a base defense  no limit and limit adjustment to create blitzes. i doubt I would play this mode but I think it would  be a mode a lot of players would like.

Not everybody is like us , not everybody has the time or will to want to spend countless hours trying to find every nano , every money play and then try to find out how to stop it.  

I have not lost lost a game of madden  head to head in person in 10 years. Because the average person that may play madden because that happen to buy it that year because whatever can’t compete because I know all the glitches money’s plays. Etc.  

so if they had a mode that limited plays so people couldn’t spam money plays all the time and then get nano blitzed out of the game, they could get more and more causal users to pick up and play and stay in the game if there was a simpler mode that some one could pick up and play.

but with all of the adjustments and the few plays that become hard to stop out of the thousands plays in madden the average person isn’t going to spend the time and or doesn’t care to figure it out.  That’s why the most popular sport in America and video games that almost every male  plays is picking up fornite or other games.

Or Learn to play Defense...

I fell like after the play is called excessive, the nerf it like 4th down. Ever notice on 4th your 2x as likely to, drop, fumble, throw a pic

At the end of the day it's up to the user to adjust if they are seeing the same play over and over... You have all the tools so use them... It would be interesting to have a different mode that would block out plays after 2 or 3 times tho...I wouldn't play it but there are people who would enjoy it

2 things needed for Madden 19:

  1. Reduce the effectiveness of singleback tight slots pitch... Way too unrealistic of a play that keeps bad players competitive   
  2. Reduce the effectiveness of playmaker... Again way too unrealistic that a WR running a drag or an in can literally turn up field on a dime or turn completely around and run the other way with no loss of speed... Make playmaker like regs or at least have the guys slow down dramatically if they are making ridiculous cuts

As far as the defensive improving when the same plays are called I thought they had something like this implemented somewhat in Franchise. Basically it involved the Gameplan where you pick what to focus on and anytime the opponent called that play or formation your defense got a boost and the same for offense whenever the same defensive formation was shown your offense would get a boost or something to that effect.

You would think this is what the awareness and play recognition stats were in the game for.  If they actually make these matter in next years game then it won't be a problem.  Seems like it should be easy enough to do

Get rid of DDA/ equalizer. A 91 oLine man should not be able to hold a 99 defender allbplay every play and vice versa. Cards should play to their stats and higher overall cpu player should beat lower overall cpu player 75-80% of the time. If a lower overall team wins cuz they r a better user with better stick skills and adjustments that’s fine but a lower team winning cuz their cpu guys in trenches  r dominating should never happen

It's on the user to adjust if they're running one play, not the cpu.

If u couldn’t beat a guy who spam the same 2 plays. Ur not able to beat the same guy spamming the same formation either. next year u will be complaining about other things.

Running the same play a third consecutive time (or 5-6 times in a game) should give the defense huge boosts to PRC, AWR, PUR, and ACC, and smaller boosts to BKS, PWM, FNM, TAK, and AGI.

I think that would represent the ability of a real NFL defense to adjust and shut down a play they know is coming, while making Madden more realistic.

agreed, or if u keep running the same play over and over your players will get tired, just a way for people to stop running the same play over and over again

Its not the frequency of the play its why that play is being ran so often in the first place. AI glitching on c routes is a good example. Folks would not spam that if it was defensed properly. Same as pitch and ect.... Some plays just have killer route combos and thats when adjustments need to be made

While I agree with these points and I would love at least an option to have a cap on the number of times you can use a play, no way ea will add an entire mode for that

I would just be happy with defensive penalties when trying to pass and the so sure handed defense when trying to pass. I have never seen so many good catching LB's in my life. Also the FS or SS being able to run across the entire field for the INT on every pass play...doesn't matter the route and that is not real.

Most of us have learned how to stop the plays: the problem is there is no consistency in the defense and blocking. Same play same adjustments and eventually they break that play. U can stop it 20 times a game but if it breaks for 3 75 yard tds u lose. I think better ai is what’s needed. Whether that means give defense the boost or penalize the offense( make them block worse or make them slower)
