The games are not necessarily rigged but every game is automatically adjusted to give you a certain scenario.
Every game is randomized to give you and your opponent a selection of 6 random characteristics or a combination of the 6 and a speed threshold leaning toward overalls. At first, I was thinking they just change your ratings in the game, but this makes more sense.
the 6 characteristics:
bad OL - easy block shedding from d
bad Dline - easy runs up the middle / 0 block shedding or pressure for the QB
Fumblitis - worse if not on conservative, but I'm sure that will get patched
inaccurate QB - constantly asking where is he throwing that.
DB pick droppers
WR drops
So based on any comp mode game, you will get 1 or more of these and so will your opponent, sometimes you can get all 6. Notice your team and then notice your opponent and you can pick out which ones they got. Ever wonder how 98 john ross can't separate from an 89 overall corner or why Barry gets caught from behind. Because the speed threshold balance is adjusted.
