PS doesnt have a reward program like this, that im aware of. This isnt necessarily linked to madden though (if you thought that?). its for money you spent on the microsoft store you get x amount of reward pts, buying madden pts would count towards that though i believe
This program is called bing rewards. You can download app for ios or android and can also access bing rewards from the web. I just cashed in about $90 worth of points for gift cards.

So, I'm going to assume that the people surprised by this don't know about bing. I've been using Bing.com for 9 years, because you can accumulate points daily just by doing random searches that take 2 minutes to max out for the day. This is the same rewards account as pointed out in this thread. You can use it for Amazon cards as well. I think in my 9 years of use, I have gotten about $2000 worth of free Microsoft points and Amazon Gift Cards.

It’s super easy. Once it’s added as Balance, go to buy something and it will have options to pay, like “Microsoft Balance” and your credit card. Just select the Balance option and you will automatically use it to pay. You can also use multiple ways to pay, for example if you wanted a $20 bundle, select the MS Balance and it will prompt you to select a secondary way and you will only be charged the $10 you actually paid for the $20 bundle.

You can go to the rewards app on console ( xbox 1) Should list how many points you have to redeem. Click Redeem at top of page, then you can redeem 4k points for $5msp or 8k points for $10msp.
All in all I just redeemed $35 in msp from points accumulated, that I had no idea held a value. Microsoft balance was updated instantly.
