DESPERATE - How to do WR off the line moves? (Skills Trainer)

I didn't find it easy, but I didn't spend ages on it or anything. I'll try again when I get a spare minute in the next couple days see if I can get one successful

Next time you have some free time go into the skills trainer to the advanced techniques and try the first drill if you completed it before and if it’s not working for you now then it must be glitched. A lot of people have been having problems in squads just getting their receivers to run after the snap with or without special moves I think it’s glitched, but if you ever try it and it works let me know.
Yeah man I’m doing it right now for my last pack I need the golds and silvers I sold them all off for points, but yeah it says “at the snap”, but I fucking tried everything and I don’t get why it isn’t working I used to do it in squads all the time and it would work fine. I’m just so confused on why it isn’t working.

Some say to do it after the snap others say to do it before it all depends on what move it is, but regardless I haven’t been able to figure it out I’m skills trainer. It works fine in squads. I’m starting to get extremely frustrated at this point.

I’ve tried this 20 times and still can’t figure it out I’m doing exactly as the directions say. In MUT squads when I do it, it works fine, but in skill trainer I haven’t gotten it to work one single time. This is the last pack I need to finish can anyone please help me? It’s starting to get beyond frustrating at this point.

WR release seems to be broken in squads right now. Is there a chance it is also broke in the skills trainer?
Have 11 of my 12 NAT packs and this is the white whale - I've tried the drill (in Advanced Techniques) easily 20-30 times and haven't gotten a single correct release.
Per the trainer (and the manual, which I have downloaded) it's X for Footfire, A for Change up, and a directional on the left stick. I have tried every conceivable combo of holding both before the snap, trying to time to press both right at the snap, holding one and then doing the other at the snap, etc. The EA blog from last year never explains, there isn't a single MH or Reddit post explaining, and amazingly doesn't seem to be a single youtube video that actually has people doing the moves.
