i have been asked in a few threads to explain so i thought i would make one thread explaining it.
it takes common sense to know why some of the blitzes are unskillful and unrealistic so i wont go into it but it is one of the reasons. some people blatantly cheat/glitch using blitzes out of dollar.
the primary reason anything is unskillful is because it performs unrealistically. dollar, 335 and 335 odd all have the same issue with being unrealistic.
you can look at the results and just say that its unrealistic but the reason the results of running x play vs y play being unrealistic is the oline.
quite simply in anything resembling real football a 3 man dline is horrible against the run. it is a guaranteed no questions asked 5+ yards on every run and in most times much more. because of how the oline blocks this is rarely ever the case, there are times a 3 man dline is better run d than actual run defenses. this is in the form of blockshed, blown assignments and glitched assignments.
