Pick a playbook and google. Learn little mini schemes, 3-4 plays from a formation, at a time. Once you feel the first is memorized add another, then another. Within a month you’ll have a full onslaught to wreck people.
Typical cheezer hangs out on you tube to get the latest and greatest exploits... winner winner...not
Get yourself on you tube or buy an ebook. People will bitch or moan at that suggestion, but if you are limited in time to lab a scheme up yourself, then this is a good way to understand what is working well in MUT. You can also adept the concepts from it to different formations as well.

Ask on here, there are a lot of talented and friendly people here. If you were on xbox I would definitely help ya out !
Quote from Beaglepowers >> First step is to figure out whether you like passing or running the ball more and which you're better at. For example, I am better at passing, so I run passes about 80% of the time. If you prefer passing, find out whether you like passing short, mid, or deep, and play accordingly, and play the routes that make you feel most confident about. If you prefer to run the ball, find out whether you like power running or outside runs with faster rbs.
On defense, first figure out whether you would prefer 3-4 or 4-3, or if you like to mix in a little bit of both(patriots). Also find out if you prefer many lineman in the box or lots of corners to cover the field. Find out whether you are better at usering the safety, mlb, d tackle(don't be embarassed if you're better with the dt).
Quote from buggy3663 >> I honestly don't use practice mode or lab with others because I have limited time, I just took my lumps online. Plus don't be afraid to take ideas from your opponents. Harder to see their adjustments on defense but one of my favorites is putting the corners in cover 3 in deep halves instead to avoid getting destroyed by deep posts across the field. But offensively you can certainly learn from different opponents. Maybe a certain route combo is killing you when you are in a cover 2 don't be afraid to put it in your bag of tricks.
I really appreciate all the advice - I know I have to get a better grasp on what things like this - "putting the corners in cover 3 in deep halves" - actually mean/do and how to make those adjustments. I figured out some of the basics of shading zones from reading and watching videos and I understand (somewhat) the difference between some of the zones and how the coverage works but i have a lot to learn for sure.

Quote from buggy3663 >> Offensively there are alot of people who say pick 1 or two formations and stick with them, and I can honestly say I hate playing those people because those people suck to defend. I honestly have some decent success running a few different formations. The key to running a few formations is you can't just have one play out of them you need two or three so your opponent is always off balance and don't forget to change tendencies once in a while I will run on first down most of the game but sprinkle in passes here and there.
Defensively start by mastering one or two coverages, and making adjustments where needed. Also realize as a user you will make mistakes and thats ok. You will get better in time.

You mean trying to figure this out replaying solos isn't a good approach? (ha ha - sarcasm)
How does one go about finding a lab partner?
Are you on PS4? I'd lab with you. We can try to work through things together?
I am in the same boat. Really was doing before latest patches now can’t do anything on o or d.

Quote from natenator76 >> I cant pass to save my life (everyone always seems to know where I am throwing it lol) and I cant seem to run either all the while having an 89 offense. Meanwhile I get dotted up and ran on constantly despite having a 90 OVR defense. I cant make user picks even when the ball goes through my face and my defenders often stand around to watch others catch the ball.
I dont have time to invest into building a new system. What I had developed in m18 no longer seems to work very well. I have time for 10 h2h games/week on top of SB. H2h takes a lot of time to get into a groove of figuring out what works and doesnt work.
Always put a te or wr on a drag to have an out Incase everyone down field is covered
Don’t force a throw of the wr isn’t open. That’s my biggest problem. I’m getting better at scrambling and sliding, dumping in the flats to the hb or throwing out of bounds.

In previous season when I started at Super Bowl in 17 and after Thanksgiving in 18 I found H2H to be just a horrible beating each time I played.
This site and tips like those in this thread has helped a little but I know I'm going to lose more than I win. I just can't make reads/adjustments fast enough - especially when my opponent is running the hurry up.

I guess the move for me is simply sticking to solo battles on my main and kick starting my farm to build up as many coins as possible so that I can afford players I want when I do have the time to get back into h2h. OR just abandon all hope because simply playing the game for solos is not an option for me. I want to compete against real people using players I like.
