It is awful with random people but had our D coordinator get kicked from a game the other night. HC doesn't know how to run the D and I had to call plays based on formation then do individual adjustments as fast as I could jumping from player to player while the new D Coord usered the D Line. We won btw but I had to get 3 user picks and drive down the field Every time on O with only 1 user reciever against 3 usered D.
I’ve had that happen while playing with randoms. That’s the risk to playing duos/squads with people who aren’t your friends, don’t have a mic to communicate, aren’t very good at the game, or think they can run your defense better than you can lol. The Offensive coordinator in duos and the offensive coordinator and head coach in squads are able to make individual adjustments to the players they are controlling presnap, but they can’t call timeouts, make universal adjustments to the whole defense, make adjustments to a player they aren’t controlling presnap like the defensive coordinator can. They take away part of their power similar to how the defensive coordinator and head coach can motion players on the offense, but they can’t call hot routes, control the QB, or call timeouts. I believe the main reason the offensive coordinator and HC can make individual defensive adjustments is to help speed up setting up plays for the D coordinator. I find it helpful when my friends can help me set up my defense faster while playing squads so we don’t get quick snapped constantly and end up out of position.
Was playing with this clown last night and he kept changing my defense which ended up almost costing us the game. I didn't realize what the hell was happening then saw he kept blitzing all my DB's leading to TD's. I finally caught on and was able to reset my play but still not set it up like I wanted to.
So wondering why the team controlling O can also make changes to D? Anyone had this happen before?
Guy was a total scrub but luckily we still won.
