Anyone using a Mobile Hotspot for Madden 19?

yeah i do it now and it has me on the ends of my wits as they (nobody) say. pretty inconsistent and user is a 50/50 gamble. sometimes i try to move or push a button and nothing happens :) im close to either needing therapy or a new controller.

I use sometimes while I am away for work. Hardly ever play online but will do a few solos a week if time allow with no problems

i play online with minimal issues with a hotspot, try to save the gigs for weekend league myself

I do my updates at my dads or with satellite internet. I can do solos somtimes on satellite but I get Ea cannot process your request at this time.

I searched before posting but only found fifa and older madden info.  Some were saying its only like 5mb per game for fut.

You'd definitely have to play for shorter time frames to get as many days in as possible. I currently use a hotspot between my phone and my hotspot device and at times if playing for long stretches those 10gb that I have goes quick... also have to make sure that if the game you are playing needs to download update/patch that you have enough data because that takes up more data than actually playing the game. 

Personally I can't wait to find a new ISP provider because using a hotspot for gaming isn't great for long term usage and if you don't want to miss time you will need to pay way more money than its worth.

I used my mobile hotspot for about a month or two while I was between moving from myold apartment to my house. Me and my wife used it like it was cable internet. We wanted to see if that would get us by without having cable internet. I pay for my hotspot anyways right. Well it does work, however my cell phone provider did throttle my speed after some many GBs. I think it was after the first 15GBs. Even with the throttle speeds it was enough to stream Netflix but only on one device, and sometimes the  Quality  Wasn’t there. When I played mut with my hotspot it was ok for doing solos and the AH but when  I got to a h2h game I notice horrible lag issues. For those two months me and my wife used up about 90GBs of hotspot data. In the end we ended up getting cable internet. 😩

Wouldnt last you anything like a month, plus your down / upload speed is the big question.

I have 12 gb per month. Trying to do solos but we are in the country with unstable satellite internet. Is 12gb hot spot enough to play online? How much data does an online match take up? Hard to build my team without the joy of playing online. I can play Black ops 4 with some lag from time to time. I would think mut uses less data. Thanks all...
