Newbie here. I have been grinding away but it seems very difficult to land two masters as a F2P. How in the world are people landing all of them? I’m in coin making mode now.
OD is pure torture so giving some currency for playing that “game” would make it more palatable.
Decided to finish this promo, for people who have been watching the market recently, which tier of SB players are the best value to buy? Or is it best to just go by Xenith's analysis of value?
Quote from Xenith606 >> Hard numbers on the value of each tier of SB player for various master values:
If you value each master at 2/1.5/1 million coins:
Diamond II: 1.2m/900k/600k Diamond I: 800k/600k/400k Elite II: 400k/300k/200k Elite I: 100k/75k/50k Gold*: 10k/7.5k/5k
Now, some speculative numbers on the value of finishing the promo (ie. get all 6 masters and the super bowl MVP. I'm ignoring legends here). I'm assuming you'll be able to complete roughly 2 players F2P. That leaves 4 masters to complete via AH work. With the exception of Edelman, all of the masters have at least an argument for best-at-position (especially given the John Johnson and Van Noy +1s), and all 6 buffs are very useful, meaning that completing the full set of masters grows the power of all the masters pretty meaningfully. So, I think it's safe to set 1 million coins per as a floor for the value of the masters given full set completion. The Super Bowl MVP should be unquestionably the best player at his position (likely QB, which is one of the most relevant positions) and will probably have a good to very good buff as well. 2 million coins seems like a good floor value for him. Going with these numbers, doing AH work to finish off the last 4 masters is worth a minimum of 6 million coins of value. That being the case, look at the 1.5m value tier above as your target for what prices to buy at (the AH isn't quite there yet, but I think it will be within a couple days).
Considering how rare Smith jerseys are, is it still worth it to sell the gold players or should I convert them for jerseys for him?

Quote from Ophie83 >> This is so confusing
I think I am finally getting a grip on it. Do you have any specific questions?
This promo is what we all get for blasting EA for involving OD for promo awards. Some tokens from playing OD would make this whole SB MVP card maybe a little more attainable for FTP. Lol
Quote from Ophionius >> is it just me, or is there a nearly complete lack of ability to grind this promo? basically... spend coin, or spend mc. now I know why people were saying they would use this to sell and raise coin. I should have listened!
It is almost always about selling early and then evaluate. Make coins and then you may want to use them at the end.

Quote from Kvh_1fan >> I'm sure it has been mentioned but the halftime reward is a guaranteed diamond player. This is big for finishing as it should tank prices for diamond cards.
During UF, some diamonds were going for 250k-ish. Not saying prices get that low but after halftime you should be able to get diamonds for what people are buying Elite II's at now.

I didn’t see it listed anywhere, but the blitz events award anywhere from 10-50 tokens per pack.
What time of the day do the free trail hero's come out each day? Haven't seen them yet today. THANKS

Top Questions What Events Are When?
Tee's Super Bowl ROOT thread What Are the Numbers?
SB Promo Number Crunching (debo) How Many SB Badges Can I Grind Per Day?
On average, 26 per day without using coins, MC, or BTs See details in paulbeezy's thread on how to grind for a Master F2P Elite or Diamond SB Badge Exchange?
Over the long term, both have the same result. Elite has a lot more variance of what you can get, but both have the same average return. Thanks to realrkennedy and ROOT for the numbers and to Gonkdaddy for figuring out the math to confirm.
