Has anyone ever tried to get EA to link two of their accounts?

Unfortunately my main account was banned by mistake in the wave of bans after Halloween. I saw a thread today that someone's account was unbanned so I decided to check mine, and I was incredibly shocked to see mine was also unbanned! I thought I would be ecstatic when my account got unbanned but I have some mixed emotions. I made a new account after my main one was banned and have been playing on that one ever since. I have made a good amount of progress on that one (91 OVR) but I just have so much more coins and players on my old account that I can't just leave it now (I was saving everything until Christmas, which my old account never got to see). I checked the EA Help site today and saw there was something about transferring between accounts but it said that it can be extremely risky and you could lose all of your data on both accounts. Has anyone ever tried this because I would love it if all my hard work on two decent accounts could go into one more than decent one.

I read on the EA website that it is possible to merge accounts, however all progress would be lost. So you would virtually be starting over. Don't see much of a point to it. Here is the actual wording:

COMBINING EA ACCOUNTS Do you have another EA Account somewhere that’s got all of your games on it? If you log in and don’t see your Origin games, your Xbox Live gamertag, or your PlayStation Network™ Online ID, you probably do. We’d love to help you get all your games on to one account, but it isn’t always easy. All of the data (including saves and achievements) you’ve got on your account from playing our games is stored in our cloud. The cloud is linked to your EA Account. If you move a game from one account to another, you’ll be able to play the game—but the data still stays linked to the other EA Account, and so do your saves. What even is the cloud though? Some of our games let you save your progress to our cloud. That means that you can access your games and saves from other computers or consoles, as long as you’re signed in to your account. If we move your game from one account to another, you’ll lose access to your cloud saves.

WRONG!   but, yeah, you won't be able to combine them

You can't have "mule" accounts. So you can't comfort trade and I think combining accounts falls under that

tomerr03

no way they'd let you

tfunk116

well it's against ToS to have 2 accounts so no chance EA helps you merge two... plus it'd take a long time to get something like that past EA help. Like it'd be 2020 by the time you got something helpful.
