How is Sig Cook?

For those that have used him how does he stack up against other 99s in the game?

The fumble comments have been enough to scare me off.  Appreciate everyone’s input!

I liked playing with him a lot but I found that he tends to fumble a lot

He’s a fun back to play wi but the speed is kinda a killer when you have a chance to break a long run. He spins and jukes just about as well as anyone else. My backfield right now is as follows.... I’ll list in order of best to worst

I had a similar take on Cook.  He is a fun back.  Great receiver and fun to run with, but his speed was never great.  No real extra gear to the card

That’s for the feedback guys

My opinion has changed.

He fumbled in the very first game I used with him, but I didn't think too much about it since it seems all my running backs fumble.

I decided to use him as my #1 back for a season and in my final game he fumbled twice, on a run and on a catch, ending my season.

With that said, I will no longer use Dalvin Cook.

He's pretty average. Nothing too special, but not bad at all.

In my mind, his 98 max speed bothers me, but I don't know how much it actually affects me in game. Is 98 and 99 that much of a difference? I don't get caught too much on offense, but I also don't catch that many people on defense. As long as you take good angles to escape, you're probably just fine.

He is just as elusive as everyone else. He's stronger than most elusive backs, but not strong enough to be a power back. He can truck though, but he isn't Bo or Barkley. He's like a jack of all trades to me. He's elusive, but he isn't the fastest. He can break tackles, but he isn't the strongest. He can catch, but he isn't like McCaffrey.

If I'm building a real god squad, something where everyone has a specific purpose and they are the best at what I need them to do, Dalvin isn't making the team. I'm putting Barkley as my starter and McCaffrey as my second back.

Card art is nice, but if you aren't a collector, a Dalvin Cook or Viking fan, or have an overwhelming amount of cards/coins to obtain him, I wouldn't go out of my way to try to do it, since he won't be super easy or cheap to get.

If you’ve got something about equal in collateral I’d be willing to let you take him for a test drive

Wow Andy, that’s one heck of a rushing roster! Thanks for the feedback.  Will be interesting to see if anyone sees it differently.
