If JJ is unobtainable maybe, currently using Lamar. He’s not a traitor imo. I actually REALLY wanted him back when his Washington drama was going down. I was frequently told it was a pipe dream and was pretty pumped when we got him. Unfortunately, for many reasons, it just didn’t pan out. There was always something, not all of it Kirk’s fault regardless of what the national or rubes opinions may be. He was brought in because we thought we were a QB away with Zim’s defense and that thought made a lot of sense until his defense started to degrade. Zim bears responsibility for just as much if not more if the issues/struggles as Kirk. I’m glad they took the swing with him and tried but we’re well past the window Kirk was brought in to attempt to capitalize on. It was time to move on. Despite the terrible things that have happened in the Vikes this off-season, I like the plan and moves they’ve made. We finally have a direction rather than spinning circles.
In regard to MUT, pocket QB’s just aren’t my favorite flavor. Even though I don’t run a ton with the QB, I like to have the option and versatility when needed because the throw away button is buried deep in my mind next to scoutmaster Steve so I never think about it.
