I say clear everything except what you need for lower arenas. Methodically start replacing any remaining high value Max token players with lower Max token value acceptable subs, w/possible exception of key offensive positions based on your play style (QB, HB, TE, WR1/2). Ideally, you maximized tokens by starting this process when the totw tradeins were still available. If you still have any S1-7 iconics, it doesn't hurt to hold them at this point, but no reason to either, unless they allow you to maintain a viable arena lineup and mulch S8 or S9 players.
Was thinking about this just saving what I'll use for lower arenas and clear everything else. Everything else on my bench is S1-7.
I forgot my other purpose for hanging onto bench players was for FP upgrade packs. I know its only 3 pack per day limit, but still makes it easier to build FP players

Yes. Using S1-7 uc and rare, maybe epic to build FP packs is a good value.
I guess I'm not clearing my bench. LOL
