I don't think there is a "meta" card setup out there. Most of it depends on "scheme" or preference of play. Set Feet Lead, Gunslinger and Hot Route Master are popular...I don't throw much, so I don't really use them...on defense the abilities that start on (Colossal for example) are popular...Inside Stuff and knockouts are also good to have out there. For me...I look at what I can get for 0 AP and build from there. I'm a fan of No Outsiders and Inside Stuff on defense (my goal is to take away my opponents run so they can crush me with the pass)...on offense I like anything that helps with blocking (Honorary Lineman) and RB abilities (Freight Train, Reach for It, Human Joystick).
